The key to creating healthy youth based clubs is to inspire both leadership and participation. Highly effective clubs require well trained leaders and actively engaged members, as well as the ability to effectively communicate club messaging and mission. Clear messaging is essential for the purpose of attracting and retaining committed members who are motivated to achieve club objectives. Effective leadership within youth based clubs requires two basic components: philosophy and application.
In this module series students learn to embrace the importance of, and develop the skills necessary to create, recognizable club branding and club messaging, inspire teamwork and unity amongst members, and learn practical goal setting and strategic planning techniques. The ultimate goal of this after-school module is to build self-sustaining clubs that impart a legacy of action, contributing to the development of a positive school culture and community at large.

The key to a healthy community is an active citizenry. To create an active citizenry, we must promote civic engagement and leadership development within our youth. The ultimate goal is to inspire and empower youth to see themselves as positive and effective agents of change, with an altruistic desire to improve their communities at large.
In this module series, students learn to identify, address and implement solutions to problems in their community. Students will work together in committees to decide on a desired community outcome. Sessions will focus on developing leadership skills through the design and implementation of student designed and driven community service project. Program culminates with the successful execution of the students’ project.
An emphasis will be placed on creating a sustainable service model that can be shared with new and rising students to ensure the continuance of a civically engaged student body.
The key to a healthy youth-based social media community is positive messaging. To create positive online environments, we must promote positive social media engagement and leadership development with our youth.
Effective leadership through positive social media engagement requires two basic components: philosophy and application. In this module series students learn to understand and embrace the power and influence of social media and to use social media and technology to create positive social media environments.
This workshop series will also include the development and execution of a student driven positive social media campaign to counteract the ever present and prevalent negative messaging students are faced with on a daily basis. The ultimate goal is to create a campaign that inspires youth at large to take an active role in creating and maintaining positive social media messaging.
An emphasis will be placed on creating a sustainable school-based social media platform that can be shared with new and rising students to ensure the continuance of a positive social media presence.
The key to successful personal presentation, job acquisition and acing college application interviews depends on a number of factors such as confidence, poise, etiquette, appropriate dress and speech, and the ability to create a resume and or complete a college and or job application.
Throughout this practical life skills applications module, students will learn essential personal presentation and interview skills adding to the skill-set necessary to become college-prepared and career ready citizens!
